Get To Know Your Fisherman
Hi, I’m Nick Blakey.
My Alaska adventures began when I was just 3 years old. Every summer, as the sockeye salmon started their run, my family and I made the journey north to help my dad with his small salmon processing business. Now, 35 years later, I’ve never missed a season in Bristol Bay. I bought my first boat at 22, and through hard work, sweat and time spent on the open waters, I fell in love with fishing.
Today, I live in Fort Collins, Colorado, with my wonderful wife and our 3 lively young boys, who love fishing as much as I do!
For me, sockeye salmon is more than just a business. It’s a way to connect people to the wild, pristine waters of Alaska while offering something that’s both healthy and sustainable for the planet.
